Pleasent experience in one of the restaurants from the Hotel Sinaia, restaurant La Roq. Alongside my colleagues we experienced a lovely dinner served by Florin which was very attentive to every detail and made our night lovely. The food was exactly on my taste and the desert was exactly the cherry on the top to close our dinner. Kindly recommend the restaurant La Roq alongside with the others.

The food was exceptional, prepared by Chef Pavlos, who is both highly professional and personable. Each dish showcased excellent quality, thoughtful presentation, and great value. I highly recommend the salmon or the beef schnitzel! The staff were attentive and courteous throughout our visit. This quickly became our preferred gathering place with our nomad group during our summer travels and work.

The food is average, it can be improved! The prices are above average. As many other people have already said, it needs improvement! We had a bottle of wine on the house which was much appreciated and a desert! Great initiative from the hotel to keep customers in the hotel restaurant. We were going to dine at another place but you can't refuse a free wine bottle right? But, the plates need more attention.

2025 Update 4/5: Better food by a country mile, exceptional Lava Cake, Great RoQ burger, patty at perfect temperature thou the bun itself was a tad stale / old. The Chicken in Herb Crust also very good if not bit scratchy. The chicken supreme moist / juicy and the green earthy sauce just perfect. Baked potatoes lacking seasoning. Regardless, a far cry from the dry chicken from last year, almost like an actual Chef took over the kitchen. Generous kids portions and spotless service. Not much to complain about this time! La ROQ finally living up to its potential. 2024 3/5: Looks ok, clean enough. Nice romantic atmosphere and you get two prosecco glasses if you stay at Hotel Sinaia. I'd also like to point out that our waiter did a good job. The food is... Mediocre. Prices a touch to high for what they offer so it's not really the best place to eat. Not terrible either. Their "world famous" cake was rather average and a touch to dry. The waiter did warn us about the dryness thou. Fettuccine w/ seafood was ok-ish but a everything was drowned in a bland tasting souce. Chicken and Potato Puree, bland and dry. Fettuccine Carbonara, wife said it was good. My little one enjoyed the Cream Soup. Overall, I'd look somewhere else to eat, if in a pinch it can do the job but it's certainly not great.
